BT Sport introduces monthly pass
Looking to offer more flexibility in its access options, and capture a large subscription-phobic audience, UK incumbent telco BT is to offer a no-contract way to watch BT Sport.

Available immediately, and costing £25, BT Sport Monthly Pass will let anyone buy and watch BT Sport on a month-by-month basis. It will offer every UEFA Champions League match exclusively live, weekly live clashes from the Premier League, action from Gallagher Premiership Rugby every weekend, boxing and more.

Monthly Pass customers will also be able to enjoy the recently launched BT Sport Ultimate channel at no extra cost. The channel broadcasts selected programming in 4K Ultra HD and High Dynamic Range (HDR) via a range of devices . These include Apple/Android mobile devices, online via btsport.com, Sony PlayStation 4, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TVs, Xbox One and Chromecast.

“BT Sport Monthly Pass means that customers can sign up on a flexible monthly basis for the first time and make the most of all the fantastic live sport that we have to offer,” said Pete Oliver, managing director, marketing for BT’s consumer division.

“And with BT Sport Ultimate included, we’re giving customers the very best possible viewing experience. Monthly Pass forms part of BT’s ambition to offer BT Sport customers’ unrivalled choice and the highest quality broadcasts on even more devices and platforms.”
